Chinese Coke I haven't had a chance to blog much lately (unless of course Jen has been putting some stuff up here). So I thought I would take a second as I am sitting here in China to give the 'kids' at home a view of something they probably have never seen before. No, no, not a Chinese Coke logo.. but the old style pull tabs that old folks like me (over 35) remember. Back before the days of lawsuits because of ‘cut tongues’ we had pull tabs you would have to pull off of the can (and some would stick them back into the can before drinking, perhaps some dolt swallowed one, who knows). I remember collecting them and making cool chains. These cans make me also think of summers off from school, the heat and taste of a cold can of soda. Then I open my eyes and see the Chinese Coke logo, and know those days are long gone. Sigh..  ¶ 11:29 PM
