Sai Kung This is a little out of order (in that the picture is a few weeks old) this was a celebration at the small town of Sai Kung (about 15 mins from our home) for budda's birthday.

  See a man about a horse Gallant Lion is Simon’s (my boss) new horse. He came from Australia and he raced his first race in the Hong Kong Shatin racecourse on Sunday. We were all there to see him run his short sprint. And yes we bet big. But he ended in 12th! But really, that didn’t matter because we had an experience that few will ever will have the pleasure to experience. Being with a horse’s owner when they run a race. Standing in the paddock when the horses are paraded. (many here go to the races every Sunday for years and never get to have that experience). So winning or losing.. it was a beautiful day at the races! And one heck of an experience.  ¶ 8:09 PM 0 comments
